08-04-2011

Welcome to my ever changing, and hopefully improving website!  I am located in Australia. I have been seriously collecting since September of  the year 2000.

I started racing at the age of Seven - and had only one break of 2 years in that time from heavy competition.  I am now  35 years of age. Serious racing had become too much of a "chore" for me, in terms of the time and travel involved - as well as the fact it was forcing me to spend to much time away from my young family.

Still wanting to be involved in the hobby in some way, I turned my attention to fixing up my old childhood Hornet. Well, to the say "the rest is history" is an understatement. What started as a search for a gearbox molding for the Hornet - quickly progressed to finding and securing one of the first R/C cars that I personally owned - the Tamiya Sand Rover. From there, the bug really bit - and it has simply snowballed on from that point!

I only collect the cars I have a "connection" to in some way - ones that I wanted so bad and or owned  as a kid - or ones that I raced competitively.

My  hope is to have this site as a  resource for the "other" collectable cars like - AYK, Kyosho, Marui, Hirobo, Nichimo, Fujimi and some other more obscure brands, while still including my Tamiya collection. In time,  you will find valuable information on the cars that I have collected - including release dates, dimensions - and detailed descriptions. This all takes time - so please be patient !! :)

Eventually - I will add details of cars that I don't have - however I feel at this time it is better to concentrate on the ones I do have. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my cars.

Please check the WHAT'S NEW section frequently. Remember to "refresh" this and other pages when you visit.

Thank you for viewing my page - please feel free to sign My Guestbook, or EMAIL ME directly.

Cheers,
